The Secret London Runs Christmas lights half marathon is back! Run a half marathon through London's Christmas lights on our new hands-free, GPS audio tour.
 
See more of London's festive lights and sights than ever before on our latest half marathon Christmas lights running tour, guided along the way by audio directions triggered by your GPS location.
 
As you jingle through 13.1 miles of yuletide joy on a specially curated route, you'll discover more about the world's most iconic lights and the festive traditions they're linked to through our audio commentary, designed to keep you going along the way.

We're partnering with Voicemap to deliver this event, meaning:
 
Run/walk at a date/time of your choice from 23rd November - 4th January 2027;
Just head to the start, plug in your headphones and listen to the directions and commentary;
Run or walk at your own pace - directions and commentary are triggered by your GPS location. You can even break up the distance and run it on multiple days;
Run alone or come in a group - each person needs their own access to the tour;
Bring your medal along with you to the finish-line, so you can open it at the finish-line.
 
Entry is £21 or £27 with our exclusive finisher's bauble/medal. Your entry includes:
 
A half marathon route with more Christmas lights than you thought possible
Audio directions and commentary, lovingly recorded and thoroughly tested by the Secret London Runs team
Photo ops galore - and with no pace expectations, you can enjoy the experience and stop for photos at your leisure
An optional finisher medal/bauble to hang on your neck or tree
 
What you'll see:
 
The exact route of the tour is a closely guarded secret, revealed only when you strap in and begin your audio tour. You can rest assured however that over its 21km duration you will see all the best festive sights that London has to offer, taking in the following areas:

We've been leading Christmas lights tours for over a decade - we know where every light display, tree and festive sight is in London. This will be a half marathon like no other.
