Trailblazing Women of the East End Running Tour

Discover the trailblazing women of the East End who led the masses to demand change in the 19th and 20th centuries on this guided running tour during Women's History Month.

Visit the site of the Matchgirls Strike, see key places for the East London Suffragettes movement and pay tribute to those involved in the Poplar Rate Rebellion.

Starts at: Aldgate East Station (Leman Street Exit)

Ends at: Mile End Station

Date: Saturday 26th March, 1pm

Length: 10k / 6 miles

Time: Approx 2-2.5 hours (can vary depending on pace and number of questions)

Tickets include: Guided history tour, digital photos, finish-line snack, info about the people on the tour circulated afterwards.

Pace: This tour is for all paces of runner. We'll run at the pace of the gentlest runner in our group. NOBODY gets left behind. If we have two guides available, we may break up into smaller groups based on pace. No one is too slow to join us.
