The History of Medicine Running Tour

Run to the places linked to London’s greatest healers through the ages. Uncover how a city of sickness paved the way for cures and scientific innovation.

Starts at: City Thameslink Station (Holborn Viaduct exit)

Ends at: Russel Square

Date: Saturday 9th July, 11:30am

Length: 10k / 6 miles

Time: Approx 2-2.5 hours (can vary depending on pace and number of questions)

Tickets include: Guided history tour, digital photos, finish-line snack, info from the tour circulated afterwards.

Pace: This tour is for all paces of runner. We'll run at the pace of the gentlest runner in our group. NOBODY gets left behind. If we have two guides available, we may break up into smaller groups based on pace. No one is too slow to join us.

Nearest park run: Brockwell Park

We're hoping to get a good Secret London Runs turnout at the nearest park run prior to the tour. Hope you'll join us! :-)

Brockwell Park might not be the closest, but it's a 10 minute direct train between Herne Hill and City Thameslink.
