Petts Wood Christmas Lights Running Tour

We're so excited to be jingling with Petts Wood on this year's Christmas Lights Running Tour!

Every year the streets of London are transformed by a series of world-renowned light displays and twinkling trees. On a brand new route for this year, your Christmas-loving guide will lead you through the 2021 highlights on a beautiful 8k or 5k running tour.

There'll be plenty of time for pho-ho-hotos and a little festive history along the way. And of course, we'll be playing festive tunes as we go-ho-ho!

Pace: This is not a race. Nobody is aiming for a PB as we jingle through the Christmas lights. We run at a pace that everyone is comfortable with - and no one gets left behind. 

Please select the ticket of the group you would like to run with for the Christmas Lights Tour and not the group you would normally run. E.g. If you are a group 11 runner but want to run with friends who run in group 6 , then please select group 6. We'll do our very best to accommodate your preference.

The tour will be 8k for groups 3 upto 11 and 5k for groups 1 and 2.

What to wear: For environmental reasons, we’re not providing santa hats this year. But we would LOVE you to wear your own long-lasting festive hat and as much Christmas fancy dress as you wish for the tour. We’ll be giving a prize for the best-dressed person on the night. There’s no such thing as ‘too festive’.

STARTS/ENDS AT:  Somerset House Christmas Tree (entrance off the Strand)

DISTANCE: 8km or 5km (with regular stops for lights, festive history, pho-ho-ho-tos)

TIME: 7pm - Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your tour. We will be starting promptly at 7pm

BAG DROP: No - sorry! We recommend bringing a small backpack and packing light.

FANCY DRESS: Strongly encouraged and rewarded!
