About the event

Run 7km through London stopping to celebrate the capital's black heroes and heroines along the way, in this special one-off event for Black History Month in collaboration with Black Girls Do Run UK.

From musicians to writers and trailblazing anti-slavery campaigners, we'll tell the tales of the black people from history that make up the canvas of our capital.

The tour will be co-led by Tasha, founder of Black Girls Do Run UK and Vanessa, founder of Secret London Runs.

Starts at: The Mary Seacole Statue at St Thomas' Hospital

Nearest tubes Waterloo and Lambeth North

Ends at: Blackfriars Station

Date: Thursday 14th October, 7pm

Time: Approx 1.5 hours

Tickets include: Guided history tour, snack at the end, info about the people on the tour circulated afterwards.

Tickets: £15 - all money raised will go to the Black Minds Matter UK Charity

Who's welcome: Anyone who wants to learn on the run!

Pace: This tour is for all paces of runner. We'll run at the pace of the gentlest runner in our group. NOBODY gets left behind.
