Join us for a weekend of running tours, walking tours, treasure hunts and socials with the Secret London Runs community.

Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.

This year we're delighted to have Heather Darsie bringing her expert historical insight to the festival.

THE LINE-UP

FRIDAY 7 JULY

MURDER MYSTERY 5K 

Who killed the Bishop of Winchester?

Travel back to Borough in 1507 and become a detective for the evening in this game of deduction and quick wit. Following a briefing and armed with a map, teams of detectives will race to find the suspects, interview witnesses and decipher clues out in the shadows of the 16th century. We'll join you up with teams of similar-paced runers/walkers for the investigation. 

The Boot & Flogger, London Bridge

Drinks from 5pm, Teams start staggered from 6:30pm - 7:30-pm. Murderer announced at 9pm

SATURDAY 8 JULY

Optional early morning tour

SUNRISE 5K STREET & URBAN ART RUNNING TOUR

Wake up to a running introduction of the urban art of the London Bridge area and get back to your hotel in time for a well-earned breakfast.

Heather Darsie is a historian specialising in Early Modern history and a great friend of Secret London Runs.  She's in London launching her new book The Children of the House of Cleves, and she'll be joining hosts Josh and Vanessa for a live podcast. Subject TBA.

Celebration and Festival Awards will follow the podcast.

JACK THE RIPPER RUNNING TOUR

Travel back to the East End in1888 and explore the terrifying setting of the Whitechapel Murders. In this 10k tour (with a 5k option) we put the victims at the centre of our investigations - who were they, what was life like for them, and why were they murdered?
