The London's Pride jogging tour explores 3000 years of queer lives over a 7km jog, stopping at key places along the way to hear stories of secret love, public punishment, gender non-conformity and civil rights progress.

Journey from the Roman settlement of Londinium to modern-day Soho, learning about the surprising customs of Celtic warriors, the illicit love of a 14th century King, and the legendary antics of Long Meg, London’s first cross-dressing brothel owner.

This is a ‘no-glory-holes-barred’ look at the tops and bottoms of London’s queer history, and everyone is welcome.

£2 of every ticket will be donated to the Albert Kennedy Trust, supporting homeless LGBT young people.

we’ll journey from 1200 BC up until 2017 AD, learning about the surprising customs of Celtic warriors, the illicit love of a 14th century King, and London’s legendary cross-dressing brothel owner. Find out where ‘Rump-riders’ would meet in the 19th century, and lesser known stories of lesbian love across the ages. You’ll run through the streets and alleys of the city where same-sex desire was fulfilled in secret and punished in public, learning why homosexuality was a criminal offence, and how civil rights has progressed to where we are today. This is a ‘no-glory-holes-barred’ look at the tops and bottoms of London’s queer history, and everyone is welcome!

Moll Cutpurse (aka Mary Frith) was a cross-dressing, sword-bearing pick-pocket who became infamous in early 17th Century London for breaking the law and traditional gender codes.

Rumour has it that in 1611 she was brought on stage to be publicly punished in the presence of a priest, and she turned the event into a spectacular show, winning the audience over.
